J.B. Kropp

J.B. Kropp is recognized as a leader in digital media and entrepreneurship. His background spans over 16 years of product development, mergers & acquisitions and strategic leadership in early-stage companies.

Prior to joining The E.W. Scripps Company as VP, Digital Strategy and Business Development, J.B. was previously at Twitter, focused on developing social media marketing frameworks for Procter & Gamble’s portfolio of global brands. Before that, J.B. was one of the founding members of Vitrue, a social media management platform that was acquired by Oracle in 2012.

A Cincinnati native, J.B. is well-known in the local startup community. He is one of the founders of the The Brandery, the top-ranked Cincinnati accelerator that has helped launch successful startups including Frameri, FlightCar, FamilyTech, Roadtrippers and Ahalogy.

J.B. holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Denison University and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for ArtsWave and Starfire Council of Greater Cincinnati. He is also a member of the Greater Cincinnati Venture Association and an Advisory Board member for Cintric, FamilyTech and Roadtrippers.
